About the role
Prepare special meals or substitute items and ensure food quality in the India Kitchen. Follow recipes, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists while handling both hot and cold dishes.
Key responsibilities
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes.
- Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared food.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
- Notify Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare cold foods and handle food safety procedures.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of related kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
