Commis 3 – Culinary Team Member

About the role

Join the culinary team at Fairmont Dubai as a Commis 3, supporting food preparation and maintaining the high standards of safety, hygiene and quality that define the hotel’s dining experience. You will work under the Executive Sous Chef, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation and delivering memorable meals for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily shift briefings, share ideas and ensure accurate storeroom requisitions.
• Prepare and maintain mise en place, monitor product rotation in chillers and minimize waste.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards set by Dubai Municipality and the hotel.
• Complete grooming, temperature control sheets and other documentation as required.
• Communicate food consistency and quality to kitchen managers and supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis 3 or similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities, reliable and able to work cohesively in a team.
• Ability to stay calm, courteous and focused on guest needs during busy periods.
