About the role

The Lana, part of the Dorchester Collection, is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join its Pastry & Bakery team in Dubai. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to develop your craft within a luxury hotel environment, learning from experienced chefs and a dedicated learning academy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strict food quality control standards throughout the pastry and bakery sections.
• Ensure timely and appropriate food rotation to guarantee freshness.
• Prepare, cook, bake, and present a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts to the highest culinary standards.
• Support senior pastry chefs during service and assist with plating and garnishing.
• Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and food‑handling regulations.
