Commis Chef – Ritz‑Carlton Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Hamra Beach is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join its Food & Beverage team. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, supporting chefs in preparing high‑quality dishes that meet the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, weigh, store and measure according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble both hot and cold dishes, ensuring presentation and quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, including tools, knives and surfaces.
• Monitor food temperatures and conduct quality checks throughout preparation.
• Set‑up and break down stations for service periods.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of relevant kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift items up to 25 lb for an entire shift.
• Willingness to follow safety, security and company policies.
