Commis I – Asian Specialty (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Commis I Asian Specialty will support the Asian kitchen team at the Autograph Collection hotel in Dubai Parks & Resorts. This full‑time, non‑management position involves preparing and cooking a variety of Asian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix items for cooking.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, presentation standards and food‑preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness and ensure correct temperatures for appliances and dishes.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licence or certification required.

Required skills

• Operating kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers, microwaves).
• Food preparation – weighing, measuring, mixing and cooking.
• Food safety and hygiene practices.
