About the role
Rotana Hotels is looking for an enthusiastic Commis I to join the Oriental Kitchen team at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. This entry‑level position supports daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in all kitchen activities.
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and execute food production across main and satellite kitchen sections.
- Follow menu specifications and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
- Control food stock, monitor waste, and help manage food costs.
- Coordinate with other sections to ensure cleanliness, cost control, and timely service.
Required profile
- Completed a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in reputable establishments with solid culinary fundamentals.
- Good command of English.
- Positive, dynamic attitude and ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
