Commis II – Sea Fu Sushi Specialty

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a motivated Commis II to join the Sea Fu restaurant team. This junior kitchen position supports the sushi station in a luxury hotel environment, offering hands‑on experience with Japanese cuisine and a pathway for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of sushi items, including maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of seafood and other perishable ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Support senior chefs with daily mise en place and contribute to smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced kitchen, preferably with sushi or Japanese cuisine.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
