Commis III – Culinary Team Member

About the role

The Commis III joins Hilton’s kitchen brigade in Abu Dhabi, preparing and presenting high‑quality dishes while supporting overall kitchen performance. This full‑time position focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience and meeting departmental targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to Hilton’s high standards.
• Set up and maintain mise‑en‑place for all relevant menus.
• Control food costs and contribute to kitchen revenue.
• Keep work areas clean, prevent cross‑contamination, and follow hygiene protocols.
• Assist other departments as needed and maintain good working relationships.
• Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef (NVQ Level 1 or equivalent).
• Positive attitude, good communication, and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for culinary arts and a drive to learn.
• Completion of a basic food hygiene course.
