Commis III – Hotel Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis III to join the culinary team at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food preparation, safety and presentation for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect kitchen equipment to minimise breakage and ensure proper functioning.
• Follow and enforce the hotel’s fire, hygiene and safety policies.
• Prepare and present dishes in line with Anantara culinary standards and presentation guidelines.
• Apply food safety practices, including proper dating, storage, rotation and sanitation.
• Manage assets and inventory for the outlet, keeping checklists and cleaning schedules up to date.
• Participate in departmental training and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Promote positive inter‑departmental communication and cooperation.
• Identify and suggest improvements to culinary processes and presentation standards.

Required profile

• Understanding of fire, hygiene and safety regulations within a hotel environment.
• Attention to detail in food handling, equipment upkeep and cleanliness.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
• Willingness to follow established culinary standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
