Commis III – Pastry Kitchen (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis III to join the pastry kitchen at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support daily operations, maintain high standards of hygiene and contribute to the creation of exceptional pastry dishes for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and replenish mise en place across main and satellite kitchen sections.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in line with hotel standards.
• Control food stock and monitor food cost within the assigned section.
• Follow supervisors’ instructions to ensure consistent quality and timely service.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to meet cleanliness, wastage and cost‑control requirements.

Required profile

• Completed professional chef training course.
• Previous experience in a quality culinary establishment.
• Good command of English.
• Strong culinary knowledge, especially in food preparation and preservation.
• Positive, dynamic, creative and able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated responsibility, adaptability and teamwork.
