Commissioning Coordinator

About the role

The Commissioning Coordinator will act as the ICAPS & HEXAGON Administrator, managing and reporting all commissioning completion data for the project. This role ensures accurate system and sub‑system structuring, progress tracking and coordination across commissioning, construction, QA/QC and vendor teams, providing real‑time visibility of project readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain the ICAPS Completion Database, including CCS, SCS, FCS and Punch List modules.
• Create and maintain system/sub‑system breakdowns aligned with the commissioning strategy and engineering deliverables.
• Upload, validate and monitor discipline check sheets for Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
• Coordinate with commissioning engineers to close pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities on schedule.
• Generate daily/weekly progress reports, KPIs and dashboard summaries for management.
• Manage punch list creation, categorisation, assignment, follow‑up and closure tracking.
• Conduct routine data audits, cross‑checks and reconciliation with site execution teams.
• Support interface management for tie‑ins and system handovers, and prepare RFSU, RFC and handover documentation.
• Liaise with QA/QC for check‑sheet approvals and ensure compliance with project procedures.
• Maintain manpower histogram and provide resource‑planning inputs to the Commissioning Manager.
• Ensure ICAPS backups, version control and secure data management, and coordinate client reviews.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience in commissioning, pre‑commissioning or completion systems on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards is an advantage.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
