Commissioning Engineer – Electrical & ELV

About the role

AESG is seeking a Commissioning Engineer specialised in Electrical and ELV systems to join its multidisciplinary project team in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑standard commissioning services, ensuring that tested results are accurate and compliant with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently conduct site inspections and verify test results for electrical and ELV installations.
• Review design documentation, tolerances and agreed methods of working.
• Assess test procedures and recorded results against project specifications and industry codes.
• Assist in reviewing project documentation for compliance with specifications and codes of practice.
• Report issues clearly and concisely to senior team members.
• Liaise professionally with contractors and commissioning teams.
• Carry out side observations to evaluate the quality of installations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in commissioning, electrical or ELV systems.
• Engineering degree (BSc Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering) or equivalent college diploma/certificate.
• Relevant industry accreditations (e.g., Incorporated Engineer, CSA Grade 4, BCA/ACG/NEBB commissioning certification) desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex tasks and deliver results to high standards.
