Communication Engineer (Offshore)

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Communication Engineer to join its offshore team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on the review and approval of FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system across multiple plant areas and ensures seamless integration with existing telecommunication infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve all FEED deliverables related to the PAGA system for PIB, substation, and desalter plant areas.
• Validate and coordinate all interfaces to the Telecommunication System.
• Conduct security system coverage studies and support HCIS approval cycles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during construction and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years on major oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and HCIS directives is advantageous.
