Communications Director – UAE National

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UAE National Communications Director to lead a comprehensive communications agenda for a fast‑growing Abu Dhabi organisation. This senior leadership position will shape both internal and external messaging, reinforce brand governance and act as a strategic partner to the business during a period of rapid transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated internal and external communications strategy.
• Establish communications governance, standards and best‑practice frameworks.
• Drive change‑management and transformation communications initiatives.
• Oversee brand management, reputation, and ensure consistency across all channels.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communications matters.
• Manage external agencies, partners and specialist suppliers.
• Lead, mentor and develop an established communications team.

Required profile

• UAE National with extensive senior communications leadership experience.
• Proven track record of building or transforming communications functions.
• Strong background in organisational change and transformation communications.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Experience managing teams, communications frameworks and brand governance.
