About the role
The client is a leading digital asset custodian seeking an experienced Compliance Director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join their team in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). You will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the firm’s anti‑money‑laundering and regulatory framework.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the AML framework across the organisation.
- Provide advice on counter‑terrorism financing, sanctions, fraud and anti‑bribery and corruption matters.
- Act as the Data Protection Officer and develop related policies.
- Analyse conflicts, commercial impact of new regulations and develop internal policies.
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns and reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of financial‑crime experience gained within the UAE.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in the digital‑asset sector.
- Ability to work as the regulated MLRO for the firm.

- Competitive salary of AED 70,000 per month.
