Compliance Manager – Engineering (Quick Commerce)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join the Amazon Now team and ensure technical and regulatory compliance across our engineering operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role will drive compliance standards while the engineering infrastructure scales to support quick‑commerce services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering compliance throughout all project stages, from initiation to operation.
• Develop and implement compliance frameworks that align with regional regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings and engineering solutions to verify adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement of compliance processes and controls.
• Provide expert guidance on technical compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate technical compliance audits and assessments with cross‑functional business functions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk or loss‑prevention.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data‑metrics leveraging to drive improvements (preferred).
• Professional auditing qualification or similar risk/compliance credentials (preferred).
