Compliance Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Compliance Officer supports Etihad Airways' Compliance Monitoring Program by managing audit information, ensuring quality control, and coordinating logistics for compliance activities. The role also provides training on the electronic audit management system for internal staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Audit Information Management System up‑to‑date in line with KPIs and within three working days of changes.
• Perform quality control on audit records, report discrepancies, and ensure proper record keeping.
• Act as the main contact between auditors and auditees throughout audit preparation, follow‑up, and closure.
• Plan, organise, and manage operational or technical audits, including logistics and status reporting.
• Prepare audit packs, issue briefings, and provide periodic status updates to Compliance Managers.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions, track audit findings, and compile monthly audit reports.
• Analyse audit data to identify trends, update managers, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• University degree (preferably) and at least 4 years of airline experience.
• Strong knowledge of compliance monitoring systems, audit techniques, and documentation practices.
• Fluency in English and high standard of computer literacy.
• Ability to manage audit logistics, quality control, and stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using an electronic audit information management system.
