Computer Science Teacher

About the role

Teachers play a crucial role in guiding and motivating students, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for personal and academic growth. In this position you will deliver computer science education, ensure quality learning experiences, and uphold the school’s mission to foster responsible, capable individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach allocated computer science classes and prepare related lesson plans.
• Assess, monitor, record and report on student progress.
• Provide advice and guidance on educational matters.
• Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and safety of students.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support student interests.
• Engage in continuous professional development and curriculum development.
• Help maintain order and discipline in the classroom and school.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science from an accredited university.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Masters of Education, Professional Certificate/Diploma in Teaching).
• Ability to meet TELS UAE certification requirements and obtain Competent Teacher Status (CTS) within a year.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to attend occasional evenings, weekends or unusual hours for meetings, professional development or extracurricular activities.
