Computing Teacher

About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail is seeking an enthusiastic Computing Teacher to deliver the Computing curriculum to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students. The role offers access to leading CPD programmes and the chance to grow within a global network of schools while living in vibrant Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Computing lessons for Key Stages 3‑5.
• Develop engaging, technology‑rich learning activities that align with the curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student achievement.
• Contribute to the sharing of best teaching practices across the school.

Required profile

• A B.Ed or subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Computing at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
• Ability to share outstanding practice with peers.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for working with students and parents.
