Construction Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Construction Accountant to join White Star Contracting in Dubai. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, analysing financial data, and supporting the financial health of our construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end accounting processes, from data entry to month‑end and year‑end close.
• Verify accounts manually and record journal entries in the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
• Handle employee expense reimbursements, business‑trip settlements and corporate credit‑card transaction monitoring.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Develop periodic management reports and support internal audit activities.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector.
• B.Com degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance and internal controls.
• Immediate availability to start.
