Construction Engineers – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Pearl City Construction is seeking experienced Construction Engineers across all disciplines (Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Instrumentation/Telecom, Mechanical) to lead infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring quality, compliance, and efficient execution of engineering works.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain quality and workmanship across all engineering phases and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with client personnel and technical engineers for material submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality policies, plans, ITPs, and objectives on site.
• Identify non‑conformances, initiate corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Arrange labor, equipment, transport, and resources; prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for client approval.
• Produce daily reports and communicate progress to the Construction Manager.

Required profile

• B.S. or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically on infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and testing requirements for oil & gas projects.
• Proven ability to spot non‑conformances and negotiate corrective actions with contractors.
• Experience evaluating variations, design changes, and reviewing contractor procedures and method statements.

• Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Policy implementation.
• Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) development and execution.
• Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation.
• Construction techniques and materials testing for infrastructure.
