Construction Manager – Fitout

About the role

Bond Interiors is seeking a Construction Manager to lead fit‑out projects from conception through to completion. You will work closely with the Project Director, manage project teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for efficient execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to optimise cost‑effectiveness.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Collaborate with project engineers to resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions.
• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high construction standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Prepare and submit project status reports highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
• Manage procurement activities, including material orders and deliveries.
• Mentor project teams for skill development and performance improvement.
• Oversee documentation processes, including contracts, change orders, and project records.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction management, specifically medium to large‑scale fit‑out projects.
