Construction Manager – Industrial Development (Dubai)

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of new fulfillment, sortation, delivery, and quick‑commerce facilities across the MEATR region. Based in Dubai, you will travel extensively (40‑60% of the time) to oversee projects from site selection through contract execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end construction projects, including new builds, retrofits, expansions, and renovations, with budgets up to $100M+.
• Advise internal stakeholders on schedule, cost, and permitting impacts.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, consultants, developers, and general contractors to ensure design and engineering alignment.
• Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and technical analyses to define design requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders, securing approvals from senior leadership.
• Provide on‑site management, subcontractor coordination, and performance assessment for multiple simultaneous projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale industrial construction projects, preferably in logistics or e‑commerce facilities.
• Strong ability to travel internationally and work across diverse cultures.
• Excellent analytical skills to review budgets, bid packages, and program discrepancies.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
