Construction Manager Mechanical - Offshore

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead offshore mechanical construction activities for an international EPC contractor on oil and gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring safe, timely, and cost‑effective execution of all mechanical works on offshore platforms and related facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives to align project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization to meet project milestones.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures to avoid delays.
• Deploy manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Provide regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with extensive offshore construction exposure.
• Proven experience managing mechanical construction for offshore platforms, facilities, pipelines, topsides, or modules.
• Mandatory Gulf/Middle East experience.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills, capable of leading large multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Thorough understanding of international Oil & Gas standards and HSE requirements.
