Construction Manager – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

KBR Engineering Inc is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead oil and gas construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering brownfield projects, particularly the installation of feed gas compressors to meet target pressure specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities and ensure progress aligns with project schedules.
• Manage direct and indirect manpower, coordinating subcontractors and EPC teams.
• Control quality, safety, and compliance with ADNOC and local regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 10 years as a Construction Manager on oil & gas projects.
• Five+ years managing construction in the Middle East.
• Proven leadership and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Installing feed gas compressor.
