Construction Specialist III – EPC Coordination

About the role

Worley is seeking a Construction Specialist III to join its multi‑discipline team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on identifying and removing construction bottlenecks, coordinating EPC contractor interfaces, and ensuring smooth execution of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve construction progress bottlenecks proactively.
• Coordinate interface issues between EPC contractors and provide clarifications.
• Supervise construction activities according to the approved IPMT organigram.
• Collaborate with company operations to facilitate construction easements and interfaces.
• Review completion documentation such as Mechanical Completion Dossiers for proper certification.
• Ensure all required procedures, permits, NOCs, environmental studies, JSA/FRA and safety reviews are in place and followed.
• Protect company interests by enforcing contract requirements, regulations, and HSSE standards.
• Drive the “Right First Time” start‑up concept and manage handover of final project documents.
• Oversee punch‑list clearance and coordinate final project close‑out.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction supervision within EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of interface management between contractors and client operations.
• Familiarity with mechanical completion documentation and certification processes.
• Knowledge of HSSE practices, risk assessments, permits and environmental compliance.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, multi‑discipline environment.
