Construction Superintendent – E&I (Offshore)

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent – E&I to lead offshore site activities on a large‑scale EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on coordinating construction, drilling and logistics teams while ensuring strict compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the approved MOPO at all times and oversee its compliance.
• Facilitate alignment discussions between logistics, drilling and construction management to resolve clashes.
• Determine work‑schedule priorities and convene SIMOPs Panel 1; escalate unresolved issues to Panel 2.
• Provide oversight as SIMOPs Co‑ordinator, ensuring HSE‑OS‑ST‑06 standards are met.
• Review and endorse the Master 2‑Week SIMOPs Look‑Ahead Plan and long‑term activity plans.
• Chair daily PTW and SIMOPs coordination meetings, weekly SIMOPs Management Team meetings, and weekly planning meetings.
• Maintain communication with Area Authorities, review high‑risk activities, and authorize new area permits.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and verify inspection, maintenance and preservation activities performed by contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Extensive offshore site experience on mega EPC projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction and drilling interfaces.

Required skills

• SIMOPs coordination and HSE compliance.
• MOPO implementation.
• PTW (Permit‑to‑Work) management.
• Construction management in offshore environments.
