Construction Superintendent

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site operations for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily on‑site construction activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage subcontractors, monitor progress against project schedules, and control project budgets.
• Review structural, piping, and electrical plans to verify adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation of site activities, inspections, and progress reports.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Civil.
• Minimum 17 years of experience in construction, with at least 10 years on mega oil and gas processing projects.
• Proven experience in the oil and gas sector in a similar supervisory role.
• Experience directing day‑to‑day site activities and managing large subcontractor teams.
• ADNOC project experience is an advantage.
