Construction Supervisor - Mechanical

About the role

Worley is seeking a Mechanical Construction Supervisor to join a multi‑discipline team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on identifying and removing bottlenecks, coordinating EPC contractor interfaces, and ensuring construction activities comply with approved procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve construction bottlenecks proactively.
• Coordinate interfaces between EPC contractors and provide clarifications on conflicts.
• Supervise construction activities according to the approved IPMT organigram.
• Collaborate with company operations to facilitate construction easements and interfaces.
• Review mechanical completion dossiers and ensure proper documentation and certification.
• Verify that all construction drawings, risk assessments, permits, NOCs, environmental studies, JSA/FRA, and safety reviews are in place and adhered to.
• Protect company interests by enforcing contract requirements, regulations, and HSSE practices.
• Implement the “Right First Time” start‑up concept and manage handover of final project documents.
• Coordinate clearance of punch‑list items and ensure compliance with Advanced Work Packages (AWP) methodology.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction supervision within EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical completion processes and documentation.
• Ability to manage interface coordination and resolve technical conflicts.
• Familiarity with HSSE standards, risk assessments, and safety reviews.
• Working knowledge of Advanced Work Packages (AWP) concepts.
