Construction Supervisor - Pipeline

About the role

Worley is seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead pipeline construction activities for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, efficient execution of pipeline installation, modification, repair and maintenance in line with client and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day pipeline construction and installation activities on‑site, including onshore and offshore works.
• Coordinate right‑of‑way preparation, stringing, pipe handling, fit‑up, welding, NDT, field joint coating, lowering, tie‑ins, hydro‑testing, de‑watering, drying, reinstatement and pre‑commissioning.
• Ensure all works follow approved IFC drawings, method statements, ITPs, specifications, procedures and applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor welding activities for compliance with approved WPS/PQR and welding procedures.
• Coordinate with Welding, QA/QC and NDT teams for inspection, testing, repair and acceptance of welds.
• Supervise pipeline tie‑in activities with existing facilities and manage brownfield/SIMOPS interfaces.
• Review construction drawings to identify site constraints, constructability issues, clashes and technical discrepancies.
• Ensure availability of manpower, equipment, tools, lifting arrangements, materials and work fronts.
• Track contractor/sub‑contractor productivity and progress against the approved construction schedule.
