Consultant Allergist and Immunologist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat and manage a broad spectrum of allergic, immunologic and immune‑mediated disorders in both adult and pediatric patients, delivering evidence‑based care in a state‑of‑the‑art clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions such as rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food, drug and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema and anaphylaxis.
• Evaluate and treat primary/secondary immunodeficiency, autoimmune and other immune‑mediated diseases.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed history, physical examination and allergy‑focused evaluation.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures: skin prick, intradermal, patch testing, pulmonary function testing and laboratory investigations (IgE, immunologic studies).
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating avoidance strategies, pharmacotherapy, allergen immunotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy, managing any adverse reactions.
• Provide emergency care for anaphylaxis following clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, trigger avoidance, medication use and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists and other specialists to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DHA regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, research and continuing medical education.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents and allied health professionals.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• DHA eligibility letter, DHA licence or eligibility for consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum 8–10 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.
