Consultant Anesthesiologist – American Board/UK CCT

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Anesthesiologist to join a leading health‑care facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will hold an American Board, UK CCT, or an equivalent Western qualification and will deliver safe, patient‑centred anesthesia services across a range of surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and risk evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans using general, regional, and local techniques.
• Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting levels as needed.
• Provide postoperative pain management and support patient recovery.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and manage anesthesia‑related complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of anesthesiology best practices and adhere to safety protocols and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology, UK CCT, or an equivalent Western qualification.
• Valid license to practice as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in the UAE.
• Proven experience delivering anesthesia care in a reputable health‑care setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
