About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Anesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive anesthesia and peri‑operative care for both elective and emergency surgeries while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia and manage anesthesia‑related complications.
• Perform advanced airway management, including endotracheal intubation and difficult airway scenarios.
• Provide regional anesthesia and nerve blocks where qualified.
• Manage high‑risk and critically ill surgical patients in collaboration with ICU and surgical teams.
• Deliver post‑anesthesia care and acute postoperative pain management.
• Respond to peri‑operative emergencies, cardiac arrests, and critical situations.
• Perform procedures such as central venous access and arterial line placement when qualified.
• Supervise and mentor junior anesthesiology staff and participate in clinical audits and CME activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology (MD, DNB, FRCA, FCAI, Arab Board, American Board, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialization experience with significant consultant‑level exposure.
• Current ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership abilities.
