Consultant in Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join a state‑of‑the‑art hospital in Dubai. The specialist will lead the diagnosis, assessment and management of fetal abnormalities and high‑risk pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists and other specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced fetal imaging, including detailed anomaly scans and fetal echocardiography.
• Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents on prognosis and management options.
• Supervise or conduct invasive prenatal procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Carry out fetal therapeutic interventions, e.g., fetal blood transfusions and fetoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in audits, teaching and research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Fetal Medicine from an internationally recognized body.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience in a tertiary care setting.
• Western education or experience in a recognized healthcare system (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH consultant licence.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
