Consultant Interventional Radiologist (Western Qualified)

About the role

A leading private healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a Western‑qualified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join its specialist radiology team. The role involves delivering high‑quality image‑guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of image‑guided interventional radiology procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Assess patients, review imaging studies, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide pre‑procedure counselling, obtain informed consent, and ensure post‑procedure follow‑up.
• Manage procedural complications and complex clinical cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists and other specialists in multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate clinical and procedural documentation.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, audit, and CME/CPD activities.
• Support the growth and development of the Interventional Radiology service.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Recognised Western specialist qualification in Radiology/Interventional Radiology.
• Consultant‑level experience in a reputable hospital or tertiary‑care centre.
• Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
• Eligibility for UAE consultant licensing (DHA/DOH/MOHAP as applicable).
• Excellent communication, clinical judgement and teamwork skills.
