Consultant Obstetrician

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Obstetrician to join a leading high-volume maternity hospital in Dubai. The role involves managing a full obstetric caseload within a fast-paced, trauma-and-maternity centre delivering over 300 babies each month.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full obstetric caseload (approximately 80 % obstetrics with occasional gynaecology cases such as endometriosis).
• Provide high-quality antenatal, intrapartum and post‑natal care in a high‑volume unit.
• Collaborate with the gynaecology team as part of a broader women’s health service.
• Build strong relationships with an internationally‑mixed, largely expatriate patient base.

Required profile

• Consultant‑level qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Eligibility for DHA licensing in Dubai.
• Proven experience working with a diverse, expatriate patient population.
• Comfortable in a high‑volume, fast‑paced maternity environment.
