Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

HealthPlus, a Center of Excellence for women’s wellness, is seeking an experienced Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings, supporting women at every stage of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum obstetric and gynecological care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up.
• Manage low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures within granted clinical privileges.
• Conduct outpatient consultations for a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency on‑call coverage as required.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient safety standards.
• Engage in departmental meetings, audits, CME activities, and patient education initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognised in the UAE.
• Completion of accredited specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Tier 1 qualification as per DOH requirements (e.g., American Board, Canadian Board, CCT/CCST, Australian certification).

Required skills

• Advanced surgical procedures in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Management of high‑risk pregnancies.
