Consultant Pediatric Endocrinology

About the role

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi to provide consultant‑level diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders in children. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to lead complex cases and contribute to service development.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric diabetes, thyroid, growth, puberty, obesity, adrenal and metabolic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Provide long‑term follow‑up, monitoring, and counselling for patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with paediatricians, dietitians, nurses, geneticists and other specialists.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement, teaching activities and service development initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology (preferred).
• Significant consultant‑level experience managing complex pediatric endocrine cases.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level DoH licensing in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent clinical, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
