Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist - Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering expert diagnosis, treatment, and long‑term management of kidney and urinary tract disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric kidney conditions, including CAKUT, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, AKI, CKD, hypertension, electrolyte and tubular disorders, glomerular and hereditary renal diseases.
• Lead pediatric dialysis programs (peritoneal and hemodialysis) and oversee renal replacement therapy.
• Coordinate renal transplant evaluations and provide comprehensive post‑transplant follow‑up.
• Interpret renal imaging, kidney biopsy results, and specialized laboratory investigations.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric urologists, intensivists, endocrinologists, radiologists, transplant teams and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, nutrition, medication, and long‑term care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in audits, teaching, research and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Specialty training in Pediatrics with fellowship or board certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Western‑trained education or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology (American Board, Royal College or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist.
