Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver expert diagnosis, treatment and long‑term management of kidney and urinary tract disorders in infants, children and adolescents, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric renal conditions, including CAKUT, nephrotic/nephritic syndromes, AKI, CKD, hypertension and hereditary disorders.
• Oversee pediatric dialysis programmes (peritoneal and hemodialysis) and coordinate renal replacement therapy.
• Lead renal transplant evaluations and provide comprehensive post‑transplant follow‑up.
• Interpret renal imaging, kidney biopsy results and specialised laboratory investigations.
• Collaborate with paediatric urologists, intensivists, endocrinologists, radiologists and transplant teams.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, nutrition and medication.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in audits, teaching and research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Specialty training in Paediatrics with fellowship or board certification in Paediatric Nephrology.
• Western‑trained education/clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent).
• Board certification in Paediatric Nephrology (American Board, Royal College or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant in a tertiary or academic hospital.
• Eligibility for a valid DHA, DOH or MOH Consultant licence.

• Management of complex paediatric renal diseases.
