Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based respiratory care to infants, children and adolescents in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing and managing a broad range of pediatric respiratory conditions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level pediatric pulmonary consultations for inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as pediatric asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, sleep‑related breathing disorders and congenital respiratory disorders.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary investigations, including pulmonary function tests and bronchoscopy where credentialed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, counsel families and coordinate care with intensive care, ENT, allergy/immunology and other specialties.
• Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to hospital policies and participate in clinical governance, audits and teaching.

Required profile

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics and subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Consultant‑level experience in Pediatric Pulmonology and eligibility for a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant licence.
• Experience in a tertiary‑care or internationally recognised hospital, managing complex pediatric respiratory cases.

Required skills

• Pulmonary function testing and interpretation.
• Bronchoscopy (where credentialed).
• Pediatric sleep medicine and long‑term respiratory support.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
