Consultant Pediatric Surgeon – UAE (Full‑time)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates is expanding its pediatric surgical services. The organization seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive surgical care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage congenital and acquired surgical conditions across all pediatric age groups.
• Perform a wide range of pediatric general, neonatal, minimally invasive (laparoscopic), emergency and elective procedures.
• Collaborate with neonatology, pediatrics, intensive care, anesthesia, radiology and other subspecialties to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
• Provide counselling to parents and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical risks and postoperative care.
• Oversee postoperative recovery, manage complications, coordinate nutritional support and ensure long‑term follow‑up.
• Maintain compliance with patient safety standards, surgical protocols, informed consent, clinical documentation and infection‑prevention measures.
