Consultant Pediatric Vascular Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Vascular Surgeon to join a leading children’s healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering specialized surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired vascular disorders within a multidisciplinary pediatric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired vascular conditions in pediatric patients.
• Perform complex pediatric vascular procedures, including reconstructions, management of malformations, aneurysms, and complex vascular access.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, intensivists, and plastic surgeons.
• Participate in emergency management of pediatric vascular trauma and develop individualized surgical and postoperative care plans.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi with Board Certification/Fellowship in Vascular Surgery and pediatric subspecialty.
• Valid DOH Consultant License or eligibility letter in Vascular Surgery.
• Minimum 5–7 years post‑board consultant experience in pediatric vascular surgery within a tertiary or academic hospital.
• Strong expertise in complex pediatric vascular and reconstructive procedures and excellent multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
