Consultant Physician – ENT & OLHN

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician to join SSMC in Abu Dhabi, focusing on Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck (OLHN) and Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) care. The role involves delivering primary and specialist medical services to patients with injuries, common illnesses, and ENT disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and ENT disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, communicating results to patients.
• Prescribe medications and design individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, refer to specialists when needed, and ensure compliance with medical regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating diverse conditions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Patience, compassion, and commitment to continuous learning.
