Consultant Rheumatologist

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Rheumatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines.
• Monitor treatment response, disease progression, and medication‑related adverse effects.
• Coordinate diagnostic procedures and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, pain specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, lifestyle, and long‑term care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology.
• Consultant‑level experience and eligibility to practice in the UAE, preferably a valid DHA license.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, communication, and patient‑management skills.
