Consultant Specialist Critical Care Physician – Dubai, UAE

About the role

Talentspoc is looking for an experienced Consultant Specialist Critical Care Physician to lead patient care in a state‑of‑the‑art intensive care unit in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based treatment to critically ill patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care and leadership within the ICU.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage acute, life‑threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi‑organ dysfunction.
• Oversee mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support techniques.
• Coordinate care with anesthesiology, surgery, nursing, respiratory therapy, and other specialties.
• Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency interventions as needed.
• Monitor and adjust therapies based on continuous laboratory and imaging data.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine.
• Significant post‑specialization experience in intensive care or critical care medicine.
• Proven ability to manage complex critical illnesses and use advanced ICU technologies.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare standards and regulations is preferred.
