Consultant Specialist Gastroenterologist – Dubai (Tax‑Free)

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its Gastroenterology and Digestive Health services. The hospital seeks a qualified Consultant / Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver comprehensive care for complex gastrointestinal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including reflux, ulcer disease, IBS, IBD and infections.
• Evaluate and treat liver conditions such as hepatitis, fatty liver disease and cirrhosis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Manage gastrointestinal bleeding and complex digestive disorders.
• Provide colorectal cancer screening and preventive care.
• Diagnose and manage pancreatic and biliary tract disorders.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, oncologists and radiologists for multidisciplinary patient management.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and long‑term disease‑management strategies.
• Educate patients on diet, lifestyle and preventive digestive health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum of 3 + years post‑specialist experience.
• Proven ability to work in a high‑technology hospital environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to multidisciplinary care.
