Consultant Surgical Oncologist – Advanced Cancer Surgery

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its oncology programme and seeks a Consultant Surgical Oncologist to deliver advanced cancer surgery within a modern, fully equipped facility serving an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and design surgical treatment plans for patients with solid tumours.
• Perform complex oncologic resections, organ‑preserving and reconstructive procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour board meetings with medical, radiation and radiology colleagues.
• Ensure comprehensive pre‑operative assessment and post‑operative care, including complication management.
• Utilise minimally invasive and other advanced surgical techniques where appropriate.

Required profile

• Board‑certified specialist in General Surgery with a recognised fellowship or subspecialty in Surgical Oncology.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑certification experience in oncologic surgery.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing in the UAE (support provided).
• Experience working in a high‑volume, multidisciplinary cancer centre.
