Content and Social Media Specialist

About the role

Al Qana is looking for a passionate Content and Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes social media. The role goes beyond scheduling posts – you will discover stories in real time, capture them, and turn them into engaging content that drives interaction across our diverse portfolio of restaurants, attractions, events and retail experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Al Qana’s social media presence on all platforms and work with the Marketing Manager to plan monthly content calendars.
• Capture and publish daily on‑site organic content – stories, reels, captions and trend‑driven posts – showcasing attractions, tenants, events and visitor experiences.
• Write and adapt content in both Arabic and English.
• Cover events, activations, openings, launches and seasonal campaigns in real time.
• Coordinate content shoots with photographers, videographers and influencers.
• Engage the community by responding to comments and messages and maintaining a positive brand voice.
• Monitor performance, analyse metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Support influencer collaborations from planning through reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, tourism or destination marketing is preferred.

Required skills

• Creation of short‑form video content for Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat.
• Proficiency with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
