Contracts Engineer – EPC & Tendering Specialist

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will lead contract preparation, review and administration for major Oil & Gas projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. You will work closely with clients, EPC contractors and vendors to maintain compliance and support project delivery. This position is based in Abu Dhabi and reports to the Project Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and administer contracts in line with project and company standards.
• Support tendering activities, including bid evaluation and recommendations for contract awards.
• Manage contract correspondence, variations, claims and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions and project procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and client teams.
• Assist in resolving contractual issues, disputes and claims.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
• Provide contract‑related advice to project management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• Prior experience with PMC or consultancy organisations.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, tendering and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
